Dublin is the capital city of the Republic of Ireland and is located on the beautiful east coast. The city centre has pleasant tree-lined squares and medieval looking streets. Dublin has a rich history that is integrated into the buildings and monuments. Some of the most famous attractions include Dublin Castle which is surrounded by beautiful gardens, Trinity College, St. Patrick’s Cathedral and many others. The city’s Phoenix Park is one of the largest and most beautiful city parks in Europe. It has many paths and trails ideal for walking or cycling. The city is surrounded by beautiful beaches and mountains making it a picturesque and attractive destination to visit.
The Plus centre is an open university campus located in Belfield, about a 20-minute bus ride from the city centre. It is a modern campus with extensive grounds, gardens and open spaces. It offers a wide variety of sports facilities such as The National Hockey Stadium, many sports pitches and an Olympic-size swimming pool. It is a self-contained campus with on-site shops, cafes and restaurants.
The center is advisable for young learners aged 10 to 17.
On-campus accommodation is in standard single rooms in flats of 4 bedrooms with 1 or 2 bathrooms per flat. Flats include a kitchenette and common area for relaxing.
